Crevillente is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is located in the Bajo Vinalopó at, 835 m altitude, in the province of Alicante and its proximity to the town of Elche allows you to be part of the metropolitan area of Alicante-Elche. Its geographical location is outstanding (halfwaybetween the capital cities of Alicante and Murcia), which also has been strengthened by an extraordinary network of communications (land via highway, 15 minutes from aerial Altet Airport, railway AVE station is just 5 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the sea port of Alicante) term.

Are two major festivals: the Moors and Christians, declared of National Tourist Interest, and the celebration of Holy Week, Fiesta of International Tourist Interest.
Crevillente is known for its traditional carpet industry, which has given it the nickname "the CarpetTown".
